I would take the under also. Got a feeling the DL is going to fill up fast and the bench ain't gonna get it done.

Without a poll this is useless @)

Yankees will be in the playoffs (maybe) but it would be wild card at best. IMO

They don't have the SPing depth for sure and Hughes is already banged up to boot , add that in with an offense on the decline seems like 88 is a bit high.

It's a tough division to win a lot of games in. Each team now has to play everybody in division 19 times, so you have 76 games against other good teams.

Odds I saw earlier

NYY 88.5
Tor 87.5
TB 85.5
Bos 82.5
Balt 77.5

I like Boston under 82.5 as the best pick. I'd take Balt and Tor and Tampa over.

I can certainly see the Yanks having some DL issues with old er guys like Tex, Jeter,Youkriguez, Grandy, Ichiro, CC, Rivera.

Stewvelli catching will be weak.

at least they have a couple of guys in contract years that will be gone next year and should put out max effort ( Youk, Grandy, Cano come to mind). $40 million at 3rd base alone is a bit much. I can see them renting a player or two midseason if they are still in it, because they will suck next year.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Ivan Nova pitched a six-hitter for his second career shutout, Eduardo Nunez hit a two-run homer and the New York Yankees kept pace in the AL wild-card chase Saturday with an 6-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
