+1 Hopefully other states will quickly fall in line, but I am very skeptical

i dont see nevada licensing stars or party poker, southpoint is up and ready in anticipation of this. i think the intent is to keep it in state and get agreements from other states to allow their residents to play.

I think if I had to bet it I'd agree with Ak guys. NV is a good ol boys network and I doubt all those casino CEOs/owners that are tight with Reid, Goodman, etc are gonna just like some foreign company like Party comein and take the lions share of the market.

So what would be in it for other states to allow this? What kind of cut would they get? Iowa has talked about doing it in state. Guess I don't understand the financial windfall for individual states to do it through Nevada.

How is this going to be regulated tax wise?...Do they get a cut before you even w/d? Bigger rakes?

What about rakeback sites? Will they get in?

Exciting news though!@)

my guess is Nevada would go to the other states and say "hey, why do it yourself when you can leave it up to us? We have been in the gambling business forever and we know how to do it right. We will give you X amount royalty and you don't have to do a thing except allow your people to play at our site"
