I've watched the 21-5 Colorado St. Rams three times this year and this team is legit.

They are 8-3 in the Mountain West currently second behind New Mexico who they host in Ft. Collins today.

They aren't flashy at all so don't think you're going to see a big name but they play great team defense and run a conservative yet effective patient team offense. They are a great rebounding team and if I'm not mistaken lead the nation on the boards with Iversen and Hornung leading the way.

Larry Eustachy really has a solid team here that will make a solid run in the tourney.

Check them out today against the Lobos if you haven't seen them play. You won't be disappointed.

Will the Zags finally get a 1 seed?

Wasn't Larry Eustachy the coach of Iowa State when they had Fizer and Tinsly when they lost to 15 seed Hampton? As a Pacer fan, Jamaal Tinsley is not allowed back in this sity; same goes for Stephen Jackson, and Ron Artest.

Underrated based on what? The betting markets or just like casual fans opinion?

Casual fan. Nothing to do with betting at all.

Just a team that not many people know much about. They are legit. Tune in today.

Aww man, was hoping betting. 1 of my friends went to school there and it would be funny dropping on him that I got the underrated Colorado State Rams today.

So what are you predicting they do in the tourney...

I don't see them getting out of the 2nd round alive.

Well, you guys know the tourney is all about match ups so yes, they can win their first for sure and depending on who they play, I can see them getting to the sweet 16 no problem.

Teams that play good defense, rebound and don't turn the ball over usually fair well during March Madness.

This thread is a reach IMO...

If you want to watch an under rated team, go watch VCU or Maryland or Wichita State or Rhode Island or San Diego State...

Colorado State...ehhhh

You forgot to add: Teams that make baskets and don't make stupid fouls and score more points than the other team..

Guarantee people know much more about Maryland and VCU than Colorado St. I don't think SDSU is underrated at all. They were highly thought of before the year began. You are right though about the Shockers and Rams. I don't know much about those two teams.

Have you seen CSU play this year?

Yes...not a bad team if they are hitting the 3 ball but again I think they are who we think they are...

They play in a shitty conference and have an over inflated record.

Just take a look at their record. They have split with SanDiego State (1-1), split with UNLV (1-1), and beat Washington. Other than that, they really have zero quality wins...

They were picked to finish 4th in the MWC preseason.

New Mexico, SDSU and UNLV are all teams that could reach the Sweet 16 so I'm not so sure your assessment of the MWC is accurate.

The 'Yes' in the above post was the answer to that redundant question. (<)<
