I know their schedule has not been brutal since Rondodown but they are playing arguably their best ball of the year. 8--3 since 1/29(Rondodown) and they beat Miami on the 27th! Rondos number are great, but this one baffles me too. Basketball is a team sport though, Maybe Rondo has too much control? he does always has the ball in his hands and maybe the team is more effective when everyone plays a bigger role offensively? better chemistry without Rondo? or is this winning streak just a fluke? so many unanswered questions here
Read it however you want. The whole theory is based on a player that won national accolades constantly and is considered on of the best to ever play the Center position. Oh yea, not to mention he won an NCAA title at Georgetown.
Rondo and the Celtics play of recent without him fits the "Ewing Theory" to a tee, IMO.
