Seems like people who bet enough would have some standard calm down move after a big loss. Personally I like watching a movie. Takes my mind off things and I generally am back to feeling great after and completely moved on. Anyone else have something they do to get over a bad loss?

So fucking funny. I used to let it both me but now I can get over it almost instantly. Maybe it's because I bet within my BR now but still a good movie and Xanax do the trick

honestly, the fact you have to ask this question means you are probably betting too much.

now-a-days, i don't tilt after one brutal loss.....when I bunch up about 6 or 7 in a row I still go apeshit

Had a big loss on the wiscy/mich game where the guy made the half court shot (I had mich pretty big).

Haven't been that pissed over a loss in a long time, and really have had no urge to bet since then. I've fired a couple games since, more out of habit, but that loss really took a lot out of me.

Not betting too much at all. I didn't mean it like I need hours to pull my life together lol just something to take your mind off of it. I think you get the point of the thread. The dude who jacks off til his dick has blisters clearly does!

And just realized your the same poster (on phone) LOL. Agree double, after a big loss it's fairly easy to not be motivated at all to play.

How or what you do to get over a big loss. If I had 100 to bet with and lost 20 would I be betting too much? Obv not. But it'd still upset me to lose 20% of my roll. Don't get what your trying to say/start just thought it would be an interesting thread to hear how people get over losing a big bet or a last second type loss. Don't over think it bro, just a thread promoting discussion.

20% of your roll is waaaay too much.....I understand your question

we all bet too much...thats what gives us the rush...don't take it as me saying i'm better than you....i'm just saying if you were to bet 2% of your roll ($2)...then you wouldn't care as much ...which is the corret attitude for the professional bettor

but no matter what bad beats are bad beats and we all have our ways....I think there are two full-proof ways for everyone to get over a loss that was significant and won't get out of your mind.

1) Win a bigger (or just as big) bet.

2) take a break

only #2 is a certainty but everyone has their own way that may work.

I get what your saying, guess I used a poor example. Your right tho, if someone always bet no more then 3% of there BR on a single game I guess it would be hard to ever get upset. Should have asked if you lose 10 3% bets in a row, after the 10th consecutive loss what do you do to avoid going on tilt. I work with a guy who has 1500 credit with his local. He ALWAYS bets $1500 a game. He'll either be out of credit on Monday and won't bet another game all week or he'll try and crush him. Lets just say he generally doesn't show up for work on Tuesdays, it's almost like clock work. Pretty funny

Movie, xanax, and a bucket of chicken. I don't eat fast food chicken very often - if ever... but after a big loss, I get a bucket. Dunno why, but it helps

Rebate? Like a 10% kick back for getting crushed every week reducing all his vig to even? No not at all lol. He just has no comprehension of grinding 300 plays. He's all or nothing, and he makes about 8K/month...I doubt after he pays his book he takes home a cent over 3K.
