Stiffed By A Sports Site?

I know a lot of people have had trouble collecting from of shore books for various reasons, but how about collecting winnings from a contest run by another Sports Web Site?

This is what happened to me when I was run out of Cappers Mall. I was tied for the lead in a contest going into the last two weeks. During this time, I had a run in with an admitted racist (a mamber of the Black Panter Party) who threatened me. I responded to his threats by telling him exactly what would happen to him if he dare approched me or a family member. For this, I was run out of the site.

I protested to the site owner "Jack". Apparently he decided to side with the racist. I still continued to send in my picks. As it turned out, I tied for the win. Jack freely admitted this to me. After making several attempts to collect my winnings, Jack finally agreed to send them to me. A misunderstanding occurred when he asked for something I did not understand. Finally Jack, feeling threatened by me telling him that I would make public this entire episode, told me that he would not send me the money, and that asically I could go F**k myself.

The amount of money was not important. I had let my grandson make the picks in this contest, which just shows you how bad their alleged "handicappers" are. Jack did not like the fact that I won several contests in there. Obviously Cappers Mall has fallen on hard times. They have lost several main sponsors over the years due to attrition. It is too bad that Jack decided to turn racist and back someone who openly threatened white people. If you post at CM, and play in their contests, get a guarantee that you will collect your winnings. By the way, they have a points set up similar to the one in here. The only difference is that you can only get "Cappers Mall" clothing with their point system. If it does not say "Cappers Mall", it is not offered. If you are looking for a site that exercises very little control over certain people, and an excessive amount of control for those not "in the loop", then CM is for you.

Mods, please feel free to move this to another site or delete it if you think it is too harsh. I posted this in here on the suggestion of one of the mods in here.

Who was the sponsor of the contest? I would reach out to them and tell your side of things and let them get it worked out.

I posted at CM long ago... Jack seemed pretty trustworthy back then.. I do believe recently he had major heart issues and apparently suffered a stroke. (Doubtful any of that has to do with your case, just was letting you be aware that maybe he wasn't able to respond due to those things)

I told you that you could post this here so that maybe your side of the story could be heard. I don't think anything will get solved though unless you approach jack or anyone at CM in renewed way. Possibly tell him you are sorry for things you said and threats you might have made yourself...but you also don't take racism lightly and that it affected you which made you out-lash...

I think it is possible that the person in which threatened you might have been joking and was more than likely one of the "nerd herd" there in which they all are long term members and jack has a buddy system with them as well.. Is this bias, surely.. but not much can be done about it past that point because if he is friend's with them it is simply a conflict of interest.

Murphy, I have just dropped the issue. It is not worth it. I know that Jack got involved with someone called the "Judge" who was a close friend of his. The "Judge" thought he knew it all and got involved in a off shore book, run by a person who was wanted by the Feds. Naturally he got busted, so the Judge turned to as many friends of his as he could to raise funds and keep the book going. That failed, and the Judge mysteriously died of a "heart condition" about 6 months ago. I have no idea the extent of the Judges involvment, but he allowed the Judge's book to sponsor a lot of contests with huge payoffs, like free trips to Costa Rica. People can judge for themselves. The only thing I can say is that Jack is desperate to keep the few "regulars" that he has left, no matter how racially bigoted (and that goes for whites as well as blacks and any other race) and totally ignorant of Football they are.

My whole point is that Jack is running more and more contests that you have to buy into, and I want to warn those in here who may do this to theik twice about investing in a site that is obviously losing what it once had. I am not the only person in here who knows about CM.

The Judge (more than likely did die).. many here knew him and that he did run BFC and it more than likely was a shit book that in the end did stiff people.. I think jack was only able to save CM people from being stiffed as he had judge's word on that. (believe the book has been dead for a few years though?)


Also Judge is not our Judge Wapner but I am sure JW can attest to The Judge being dead .. I believe "The Judge" had a name here El Juez (which means The Judge)

Wait a minute....We need to get to the bottom of this story. This guy is actually claiming there is a site
where they give out points for posting and you can get prizes and stuff with them????????? Id like to see proof of that....:think2:
