Have had nothing but problems with 5dimes

First they cut my limits after only taking them for 4500 in the first month.

Now I can't even make a deposit. It won't even let me get to the screen to put in credit card info, it just tells me over and over they are unable to take a deposit from me. And their live help is USELESS.

This is the worst experience I have ever had on a gambling site. Making me want to go back to bovada or find someone else.

It's really surprising too because I only hear good things about 5dimes.

Murph, sorry if I put this thread in the wrong spot on the forum i'm just venting a bit. Feel free to move it if need be.

In all seriousness my limits shouldn't be lowered betting 100-500 bucks a bet. And I should be able to make a deposit. I would even be ok if there was a temporary problem with making a deposit, but I shouldn't have to go to 5 different customer service reps and still no solution. Best part is that the rep's are now telling me the problem is solved, just like they told me they don't lower limits. Both lies.

I'm really big on customer service experiences in general. Major pet peeve. Internship in Disney during college kind of instilled that in me and I have no tolerance for this shit. Looks like it's time to start using the resources of this forum to find reviews for other sportsbooks.

Have you tried live chatting and asking for the head guy TONY?

I think he will straight up tell you if they are 1. limiting you/ 2. if you are welcome to bet there and deposit/ and 3. will answer any other questions you have.

He is a bit of a "tough guy" sometimes BUT he is very straightforward and you will get used to his direct attitude.

Some of us aren't elitists that make our easy money off insider trading like ChopTalk and actually like to gamble and look at a site like 5Dimes as a pillar in the industry. If they are giving you problems over trivial BS, we want to know.

You the man Justin! Nice hit on that $4500. Don't spend it as fast as you made it.

It turns out (after speaking to 7 different customer service reps over 3 hours) they had my account confused with another one. I had to sit there for hours and argue with them that I didn't do the things they were accusing me of while they called me a liar over and over. Finally it was escalated to someone with more intelligence and she discovered that they indeed had made a mistake.

I was able to make this deposit. But if/when I run out here I am going to seriously consider whether or not I want continue business with them. Especially if I have to go through this again just to make a deposit.

My review of 5dimes after a month. Amazing betting options and payout speed/reliability. VERY poor customer service and ultra quick to cut limits.

They should give you a freeplay or something for wasting your valuable time. Jesus that type of incompetence is pathetic. Running a book isn't the hardest thing in the world....

5D has it made in the shade printing $ all day and this is the best customer service they can give? That is awful.

Not so much as an apology.

I take solace in knowing I was going to bet on butler today had I got the deposit in earlier. Instead put it on an in game bet on kansas -17.5

I had the supervisor give me her info so I can contact her directly if there is another problem since she was the only person I spoke to even competent enough to hold a conversation.

5dimes doesnt claim to have anywhere near the best customer service.. they have tight lines and reduced juice and a safe operation for US bettors... Like I said before Tony is a "tough guy" but he runs a legit book.. so just keep firing away and burying them and you will be happy.. the min you take a shot or you get loud with him, you will be asked to leave accordingly.

Doubtful that they would issue anyone a freeplay for his experience.. He is still allowed to play there when he thought he wasn't and surely he has ran hot there so I am pretty sure he is excited to repost up again even though the thread implies he is looking elsewhere possibly down the road.

Just some thoughts from a 3rd perspective.

Anyone having issues logging into their 5dimes account? The site pulls up fine, but when I put in my username and password it immediately goes to a white screen with "an error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator" written at the top. Wtf is this?

I have the same issue at the moment.. I usually goto mirror site http://propbet.com and I was able to log right in...hopefully main site is back up and running soon but this works the same for now :toast:

I dont disagree with that.. they did call out his integrity several times which is unfortunate.. I just don't think they provide that is what I meant.
