He's played one year.

You never saw Boggs and Gwynn.

Did I say the best swing of all time?

You naming off guys I have never seen is not a valid argument against me saying he has the best swing I've seen.

Ichiro? Maybe 7 years ago.

Gotta be a guy that hits for average and power. Nobody does that better than Miguel Cabrera.

I tried to mold it after BetAllsports thread where he mentioned 2 players and an old guy(Nash), so thats what i did

The best swing you've seen and the best of all time are the same you dope. It doesn't matter if you've seen it on tv, in person or on a damn beta tape.

You saying Mike Trout has the best swing you've ever seen when the guy has played one year is just ridiculous.

I hate the term "pure" blank. What's the difference between a "pure" hitter, and a non "pure" hitter.

You hit the damn ball with a bat, and either you hit for power or average, or you don't.

I mean my childhood idol Carl Yastrzemski won the triple crown in 1967, hitting in the clutch to lead the Sox to a pennant in the last weeks of the season, but his swing was not the most orthodox - does that mean he was an "impure" hitter? Even though he hit for power and average?
