I was told by a friend this weekend that the Bellagio sportsbook no longer offers free drinks, can anyone confirm that? I have been going to the Bellagio sportsbook for over 10 years for NFL Sundays in the fall and I can't believe they did away with the free booze.

Did he say when they changed? A few months ago they were free.

He didn't say when, I will ask. It happened to him Sunday when he ordered a bloody mary at like 9am and she said it will be $12. He was shocked, needless to say.

He was in the front right part where the sportsbook seats are and he moved to the cubbies where the horse players sit. I know the roped off area and the bar area charges, he wasn't in either of those areas.

I was there just a few days ago, and the drinks were free... The girls weren't coming by often at all, but when they did, a tip and a smile got me my drink.

I'll be there for March Madness. There might be a fight if they don't give out free drinks!

They always give you free drinks if there is a LIVE GAME on the tv, and your supposed to have a live ticket on a game... but they dont ever check to see if you have a bet

Im guessing there wasnt a game on yet at 9am, thats why he got charged

I don't think that is the case. College basketball was tipping off and horse racing had just started. When we are there for football in the fall, we usually arrive around 7am to get good seats, drink service normally starts around 9 when the games start at 10.

Simple asnwer. Next time you are in there, just ask them what time the free drink service starts, cause they usually have a set time. Im pretty sure they had a time when free drink service starts.
