holy shit! I am starting to believe we are seeing something very speacial here. I haven't watched their games until the Wings game and now this one. I am not sure they can be beat in a series...I realize it isn't the play-offs yet, but wow!

Using a pro-rated formula from last year 55 points should be the play-off magic number for a team in the west. Hawks have 41 right now and still a week away from the half way mark of the regular season.

Actually half way mark is this weekend. Wow...that was quick season.
seems like just the other day I was sitting down on the couch ready to watch the Flyers - Pens game..... and now the half way pole!!
