This team was ranked #1 LOL........Then again, if they make Gonzaga #1 then I guess anybody can be #1...The fact that Gonzaga is ranked #1 now shows how wide open it really is..

Tells me to fade the Big 10 come tourney time. I don't think the conference is as strong as it has been in past years.

Izzo Fo Shizzo..........I trust Izzo in the Big Dance (he gets the most out of his talent IMO although he don't get the top talent others get)......The others not as much. Bo Ryan should be nicknamed Mr.Sweet 16...Crean only got somewhere when he had Dwayne Wade....Michigan coach is solid..Buckeyes coach is good, not great IMO....Izzo is best coach in Big Ten IMO.

I happen to have a little different outlook on things. First and foremost there aren't many gifts in the Big 10. Almost everyone can beat everyone as shown recently at Penn St. This is probably the most punishing conference in the country and you better have your A-Game every time you suit up. I think it has taken it's toll on a lot of kids and teams alike. They need to get some R & R, ASAP. They are running around with 20 pounds of Tennis shoes. Strength is there for a while but tiredness sets in a bit earlier than at the start of the season. I do think they will get their second wind and come big show time they will be ready to roll. Just a thought.

I don't think I have ever looked more forward to a conference tournament then this years Big Ten Tourney. Perhaps others are also and that's the reason every game sold out at the United Center in Chicago in like no time flat. And to think the Big Ten was like one of the conferences that never used to have a end of year tournament...
