normally I am pretty cool with my answer to questions like this...spend sometime and find a guy that fits your style, blah - blah. I will take this approach, do your own work! If a guy is great last season doesn't mean shit this season, get off your ass and work! Oh, CatsUndersOvers has great write-ups (piss poor money mang.) Big_Cat or whatever is claiming he's good don't remeber him from last year. BMM is solid...tomorrows newspaper was (is) the shit!...there are others, I forget it's been along off season and every year there is a solid 'new guy' (can you be him?) Oh, I had a win total of over 30 -units at one point last year (posted) but I am crap. Good Luck and enjoy the season!

If you're looking for "Quality" over "Quantity", the best Capper to follow on this forum is HOOK EM HORNS "Big Plays". He has posted a record of: 47-15-1 in 2011 and 71-48-2 in 2012 (76 and 60% respectively). The average juice on his wagers is right around -109 (he doesn't just play heavy chalk to pad his winning %). For serious bettors who like to bet big money on very few games throughout the season, this is the guy to follow.

Another very good capper is KEVY. Kevy might not post day in and day out but he is solid and his selections should be taken very seriously.

I remember HookEmHorns being very solid and a key contributor last year, but weren't his plays not just single games? I thought they were scenarios?

His system was to bet an entire series or something, and eventually, it'd work towards the end of the series, but you can't count that entirely as a win. Or if that's the case, those losses would be huge because in all of those instances, he's losing three or four games at a time (The whole series), which would be a big financial loss, whereas one win could be a 1-2 record in a given series, but still profit something in the end. I vaguely remember it and would need someone to re-familiarize everyone else with the system he had in place.

He had 2 threads going. His big play thread probably had one play a week or so. They were cash. His other was a some type of chase series, but it was extremely selective also.

This is correct...Hook Em Horns has two threads going. A "Series Chase" thread...and a "Big Play" thread....which is the thread I was referring to and simply the best thread to follow if you want "Quality" and "Exclusivity" in your baseball selections. Hook Em has more than one play a week in his "Big Play" thread however...as he had a total of 63 plays in 2011 and 121 plays in 2012 in his Big Play Threads....He posts his Big Plays from April - September. Based on a 25 week baseball season, he had 2.5 plays per week in 2011 and about 5 plays per week in 2012.

At -109, here is what a certain denomination player would have earned "flat betting" Hook Em Horns' Big Plays over the last two seasons:

2011:

$100 Bettor: $3,065.00 Profit

$500 Bettor: $15,325.00 Profit

$1,000 Bettor: $30,650.00 Profit

2012:

$100: $1,868.00 Profit

$500: $9,340.00 Profit

$1,000: $18,680.00 Profit

hookemhorns is pretty solid as the guys above have said..
suggestion is to watch first few weeks of bases (if u are unsure of who to follow) and then jump on board and hopefully you get on a hot train :)

HookemHorns, Enfuego, and Barnzy are all excellent. There are other good cappers here too, but these came to mind immediately.

You will find a lot of NBA bettors using a system similar to this. The though is to streaks and take advantage. A team that is losing can't keep losing forever. Same with winning...

NBA systems have you bet 1 unit, if you win... AWESOME!... if you lose, you bet enough next time to make up the money and still profit 1 unit, so you have to bet double every time you lose. It can get expensive, but a lot of guys have a pretty proven system.

Can't remember who it was (Gynecologist, I think) but last season he would follow or fade a particular team for a week or two and he did quite well.
