Could you imagine how sick that would be?
We would be talking potentially the greatest offense of all time.
Thats the one thing the Saints have truly lacked during this great run we have been on.

I dont know how we would fit him under the cap

Seems rather unlikely looking at the Saints cap numbers but i guess ya never know could make some moves to clear some space. But we need so much help on defensive side of the ball may be better off with an impact player there instead of on offense

you make him sound like the next coming of jerry rice, your offense is just as good without him

He would not be the best WR on the team but for sure he would be their legit go route deep threat. Who has really been that deep threat burner for them?

Don't know how you can be the greatest offense of all time when you're so poor at rushing the ball.

everybody on the saints gets deep, the reason most don't know who they are is because they are just the everyday WR,and they all look good.its all about the teams system for a lot of players and that shows with the saints.

just watch if wes welker goes to another team other than new england, you will see just how good he really is if its not the same exact system that he plays in now......then the questions will be,wow, what happened to this guy,he was so good for the patriots, well its just about the system you play in

I understand your point as most of their routes are at minimum intermediate & go down the field. However they never had a Randy Moss type that could blaze right by you on go routes. This is what Wallace would mainly bring to them as that is a dynamic that has not been in their offense.

Saints are looking for a replacement for Devery Henderson who suddenly lost the ability to run and catch last year..They havent had much luck with WR's in the draft since Colson and all their backups are strictly 2nd teamers. Thats proven by the fact Henderson kept the starting job the whole year despite almost no production.

They are freeing up some cap room...For 1 i dont expect them to resign Chase Daniels , some Defensive guys as well but they will need immediate replacements also.
I think they sign a reciever and maybe 2 defensive backs through FA. They want to add Line help but that will probably have to be done through the draft.
They almost have to do something at Running Back and id look for a draft day trade maybe there which will free up some more money depending on which back they move (please be Ingram!)
They will also need to pick up a veteran TE somewhere along the way..
