Just played my 1st hour of online blackjack with a live dealer and I have halfway convinced myself that its legit.
Does anyone here have a long history of playing online BJ with a live dealer?
I dont have much history with it so my sample is small.

I have not played online blackjack in 10 years.
Learned that was rigged from the beginning but it seems like from what I see so far the live BJ seems to be on the up and up.

What does everyone think?

I dont plan on making a habit of playing this regardless if its real or not.
I just sent an email to my new sports book to disable live blackjack regardless if its real or not.

Because I dont want to have that kind of access to BJ even if it is real unless it was 2 decks or less.

I ask this question simply out of curiosity.
I won almost 700 betting 25 per hand at the beginning raised it to 50 the last 15 mins or so.

So I am officially a lifetime winner of online live dealer BJ as I have just finished playing my 1 and only round.

So funny everyone thinks blackjack is rigged and other games in the online casino. Players cry when they lose. Agents call and complain when their players win to much and ask to flip the magical switch to make them lose it back. Guess what? There isn't a switch either way it's completely random.

To slow... I'd rather be cheated but have the faster action.

haha

Its about the same speed as a live casino.

Only thing that pissed me off was the deck ran out and I already had my bet placed.
I was forced to sit there and wait for the dealer to reshuffle her deck.
It took about 15 mins and they would not allow me to cancel my bet and leave.

the only bad thing about live dealer BJ is when there is a lag. You know what your cards are before you see them displayed. Other than that, it would appear on the up and up. I would never get in a game one on one without seeing the cards shuffled though. Good win.

I won 500 one day and gave it back the next. Called my book and told them to block me from casino play, that's all she wrote. No more crackjack for me. Congrats on the win.

While I'm sure there have been instances, I disagree by and large.

Who the hell would need to rig a -EV game that spits out massive volume because its virtual? You can play like 300 hands an hour online. At 1% edge a hand you would have to be an idiot to rig it, just sitback and collect. It is blackjack, lol....

I have played online blackjack numerous times online and seen runs of epic proportions...all of those included me losing.

Particularly when I was up big at the sportsbook...

Coincidence? I think not!

Generally when you play 400 hands an hour of a negative EV game instead of 20 hands per hour, the edge (or lack threof) is going to become highly exacerbated.

Regarding online blackjack (no live dealers), i have talked to many who say that it is rigged.

it is a -EV game but there is absolutely zero regulations and why not increase the house adv.

regarding live dealers, i think they shuffle in front of the camera too and show you all the cards beforehand....i don't see how they can rig it

Been in the business for a long time. we couldn't rig our casino if we wanted to.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Either that or you work for the only dumb ass book that doesn't manipulate their BJ.

What I don't get is how I lose even when it's the blackjack game where you can see both dealer cards. I think it's called double exposure. I tried it out thinking I might have a chance and bam....I got killed.
