The coach got the double-technical foul after he was mad about the other technical foul called on his guy plus the other team was at the line shooting FT's plus they had other FT's after they got fouled after taking the lead due to the first technical foul.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Pierria Henry hit eight free throws in the final five seconds of a wild start to the Atlantic 10 tournament, and Charlotte stunned Richmond 68-63 on Thursday.
The Spiders, who led by 63-60 with 4.7 seconds to go, were called for three technical fouls as the 49ers took the lead from the foul line with the clock stopped.
It all started when Richmond chose to foul Charlotte to prevent the 49ers from attempting a tying 3-pointer. After Henry made the front end of a one-and-one, the Spiders' Derrick Williams and Charlotte's Willie Clayton got tangled up setting up for a potential rebound.
Williams shoved Clayton to the floor, and the New Yorker playing at home was called for a technical. Instead of needing to intentionally miss the second free throw to hope for a tip to tie the game, the 49ers found themselves with three more free throws - plus possession - to try to take the lead.
Henry made the second end of the one-and-one, then both his attempts for the technical bounced around the rim and in to give Charlotte a 64-63 lead.
Richmond had to foul, and when Henry forced up a 3-pointer as he was being grabbed, the referees awarded him three free throws. Spiders coach Chris Mooney was then called for two technicals and ejected.
Mooney paced outside the locker room for several minutes after being led off the court, muttering, ''How can they decide the game ...''
Henry made four of his seven foul shots with 2.8 seconds remaining for the final margin, finishing with 28 points.
Ninth-seeded Charlotte (21-10, 8-8) faces top-seeded Saint Louis in the quarterfinals Friday.

I think the refs totally went nuts in this ending, they lost all control.

The three technical fouls give u 6 free throws.....He was already shooting 2 before the first technical, then shooting 2 after they took the lead so that is 10 Free Throws.....Don't know exact number, but that is generally what happened....

Craziest ending to a hoops game I've seen in awhile. Maybe Mooney knew it was over and took the T to take the heat off of Williams.

The Spiders then made six straight free throws after 49ers scores to maintain the three-point lead. Lindsay made a pair with 5.9 seconds to go, and Richmond decided to foul, even though Charlotte had not made a 3-pointer all game, was last in the conference this season in 3-point shooting, and had seen four key players foul out.

Bad coaching
