Okay so here is the scenario. I am in a March Madness pool. You can enter as many sheets as you want. Me and a buddy decided to each enter 2 sheets and if either of us won, we would split all money. Now that obviously isn't cheating. The question that was posed is, if we shared picks would that be cheating. This is just a hypothetical because we won't be sharing picks as I think that would be stupid. Remember picks lock after the first game starts.
My argument is, it wouldn't be cheating regardless because you can enter as many sheets as you want. A person could enter 4 sheets and make sure they vary from one another the same as me and my buddy could do. The difference being is, I am risking less to win less. I am risking 20 bucks to split the money with someone else. As the person who enters 4 sheets alone, is putting up 40 bucks to win all the money. Remember, they can do the EXACT same thing with their 4 sheets that me and my buddy could do with ours. We are just teaming up our money to have more chances at winning a little money by putting up less.
