Here are my legitimate knocks on each #1 seed
Gonzaga--------They are 1-2 vs ranked Opponents at the time they played. Neither one of those ranked teams they played won their regular season conference title or even played in the conference championshp game, let alone win it......Based on their cupcake schedule and limited history against ranked teams it is a risk trusting them that they got that much better in the last few months...Maybe they did, but its a risk IMO.
Louisville--------Everyone talks about their 2nd half against Syracuse, but what about the 1st half that put them in that position. They look like a true #1 more than the others, but the problem here is they have some tough teams in their bracket with coaches who have had alot of success in the Big Dance plus some others teams in that bracket that nobody wants to see..Great team and overall #1 seed and deservingly ss, but the #1 overall seed should have been rewarded with an easier bracket IMO....
Kansas----------How does a #1 seed lose at TCU??? That is beyond pathetic.....The only thing that makes me forgive them some is they got revenge on them in a big way, but then they got wiped out at Baylor which makes me think they are a little incosistent....
Indiana---------This team lost 3 out of its last 5 games and is still a #1 seed? I guess cause they play in the great, mighty Big Ten that hasn't won a NCAA Title in 13 years LOL (maybe they are due, but this conference got way too much respect for such a lack of success title-wise........Luckily, the Big Ten has Tom Izzo to thank for that national title who I have alot of respect for and who has a habit of stepping it up this time of year when it really counts...
