if you have HD and can see through the snow, the snow is ankle high on the pitch...quite amazing they can pull thru this....

Do you suppose we'll see a snow blower come out to clear a patch of the pitch for a penalty kick?

That game should have never been played, there was no cooperation from the US soccer confederation, Concacaf and FIFA are obviously corrupt. Ireland and Russia suspended their game because of the same conditions, every sport commentator I've heard is saying playing that game under those conditions was ludicrous and obviously done to give a hand to the US.

I couldn't care less about these 2 squads but Costa Rica wanted to continue the game as bad as the US wanted....if you were watching and listening to the match, the American analyst(whoever he was)was saying play on throughout the 5 minute ordeal in the 2nd half where the game was almost abandoned

You play soccer through various weather unless there is lightening. As long as the ref could see play and call a fair game, the game should have gone on. Shouldn't matter if there is snow on the field.

Now I would ask - why wasn't it cleaned off much at halftime (Little home field advantage).

Countries pick where they play qualifiers. There is a reason why the US plays teams like Mexico in Denver or Boston and teams like Canada in LA or Miami....

yeah, that was weird

it was very hard to delete the post.. lol.. I had to basically manually enter the post # in another posts' edit address.. haha.

I believe it was because of the script.. they are hit and miss sometimes.. sometimes posting something below the video even if a . avoids that from cutting off.. I just found out from trial and error.. but your post was already officially ruined and not even editable every time I tried. lol

funny thing was I restored it to see what it was doing. Then couldn't re-delete it... had to go through a bunch of stuff
So I just went to my posts and did it from there.

don't think I ever had a video do that before.. oh well, it's gone

Just making up for the U.S. having to play in that high school field called Saprissa Stadium. the Ticos had such a home field advantage as the only legit team in Concacaf allowed to play on turf. And when I say turf I use that term loosely. Saprissa turf is like cement and has dead spots like the Old Boston Garden that only the Ticos knew about. The sidelines were so narrow it was like playing indoor soccer which meant the fans were right on top of you throwing batteries and ziplock bags full of piss.

Thank god for the Chinese who built the Ticos that new national stadium where the U.S will play this year. You can kiss that home field advantage the Ticos had at Saprissa goodbye. The stadium is grass and has a track around the soccer field meaning the fans are a million miles away unlike Saprissa.
