This team has a much better chance than 1/1000 imo. They have great team chemistry and great shooters.

Very unlikely but no where near 1/1000.

I will put it this way.
I was not old enough to remember the USA hockey thing.
If they won it all it would be by far the most incredible thing I have ever seen in sports and it would not be close.

No way. There were a lot of people on the FGC ML over Georgetown which should tell you people thought Georgetown was overrated. SDSU finished 4th in the MWC. The parody in CBB these days allows something like this to happen.

I'd say the following were way more significant...

Buster over Tyson
NYG over undefeated NE
George Mason getting to the FF
NC State winning it in 1983 only after having to beat defending champ and UNC's Michael Jordan and Virginia's Ralph Sampson in the ACC tourney just to get in the big one
Villanova over Pat Ewing and the Hoyas
Rulon Gardner defeating Alexander Karelin in the Olympics

none of those would top fgcu winning it all. this program has only been around a handful of years

Well I stand behind my ridiculous post considering the fact that no 15 has ever made it to the sweet 16 in the history of the tournament.
If that feat is nothing special(not top 5 worthy) how come its never happened before?
