Nice start to the campaign, BMM... looks like you're picking up where you left off ;)

Just one observation though - I hope you're not combining your Spring Training record with your regular season record :)

Lol not at all!! Didn't mean for it to sound like that haha

But a great start. Technically, considering everything, that puts you on an eight-game overall winning streak in baseball (Forgot the win streak you ended on in the World Series but it was obviously significant). :)

all i hope cats is that we have a great start to the season and continue right where we left off... first month might be a little shaky, getting used to the teams and whatnot..

speaking of that playoff run, what actually makes me feel good about it was that, after collecting 85 units last year, ($8,500 real money), i blew $2,000 of it (20 units), right off the bat in the world series... i believe i was around 3-8, and was down 19.30 units... it killed me... but i took a few days off to really get over it... clear my mind... and went on for a 10-1 record in the World Series, collecting (34 massive units in the series alone), for a final playoff record of 24-18, +17.24 units ($1,724).. now add that to the 85 units collected in the regular season, i made $10,224 betting on baseball this year... its HUGE for me, and i know it will never happen again (especially that 10-1 world series lol)..

so yeah, you can see why im a little anxious to start the MLB season :) ... but i know the baseball gods wont always be with me

Exactly. A truly dominant season on your part, and you capped it off beautifully in the end. Sometimes, a few days of rest can do wonders mentally because, as I always say, gambling is mental more than anything else. One other thing though: You can absolutely repeat what you did in the World Series! Maybe not exactly at 10-1, but still something very similar to it. I was 4-0 with my World Series over/unders last year, but I wasn't that surprised by it because I somehow pulled off going 5-1-1 in the seven World Series over/unders in 2011 (Although I admittedly got lucky on that push in Game 7, if you remember the bunch of runs scored early in that game... as a Ranger fan, though, I was barely even thinking about the over/under for obvious reasons haha).

My advice to you concerning how to start this season (I wish I followed this advice last year, since I got out to a horrendous start to the season, although I had 103 fever the entire week leading up to Opening Day so that probably affected me) if its feel a little uncomfortable... go through every division one at a time, re-familiarize yourself with the depth charts and such, and repeat. Look 'em over a bunch of times, then move on to the next division. Formulate your general opinions for each team, the sleepers you might have, etc., and then move on to the next division. I just wrote a 12,000 word MLB Preview for another site, after spending hours and hours studying up on each team and going inside and out each team, their acquisitions, promising young players, etc., and I'm telling you, it did wonders for my psyche and re-establishing my confidence going into the season. Once you re-familiarize yourself with everything and get back into that routine, that's when it becomes simple and easy again.

You, myself, and Skyla will be back on our torrid pace in no time. 2013 is going to be a special year.
