What kind of domino effect would this have? The United States most surely would defend S. Korea and if we bomb N. Korea, would China get involved? Could this escalate into an all out war with China?

China would not get involved as long as NK is the aggressor. SK has a pretty solid military though. They can handle themselves.

China would only get involved depending upon how far past the 48th parallel the Yanks come marching in. If you get a chance, read just about any of Macarthur's biographies, incredible story, fantastic general and tactician, just needing to update his prez on location was his downfall.

So we really have nothing to worry about. Lots of saber rattling by the young immature N. Korean brat. Happen to think though that he will do something and whatever that may be I'm not sure. Not making a joke here but maybe he would sink a S. Korean fishing boat and claim that it was in N. Korean waters. Something stupid like that I can forsee.

They do not have the technology to send anything in our direction.

Each year we conduct a joint exercise with the South Koreans. This is the main reason Un is trying to be a tough guy. This sort of talk happens each year. As part of that exercise, we fly aircraft. It's nothing new from the year before and the year before that.
