I agree. Its not like they wont be able to convict him so at worst he is spending the rest of his life in jail. Might as well try and get death.

It could be such a huge cost saving measure. It takes about $67 a day to house a prisoner...Assuming he lives 30 years. That is $733,650....Everyone who has admitted guilt and has life in prison should just be killed. Instead of building prisons, we can build schools. Think of how many across this country have admitted guilt and either are on death row or life without parole or 100 plus year sentences....Could save billions and to me, it is such an undebateable decision....But no, the attorneys have to bleed the system dry. That is another profession my administration would get rid of...

You could pay 1 attorney 20K and he will say he can get you probation....Same crime and another attorney you can only pay 1K too, he says you will have to do time.

This guy deserves the death penalty.

But is cases that aren't as horrendous, I like the idea of the huge pit they had in the new Batman movie.
Throw all the savages down in a huge pit they can't get out of, shitty conditions, and lower rations of food down for them to fight over.

That is kind of what they do in North Korea. Read "The Aquariums of Pyongyang" and about Yodok and Camp 22. Or the story of Shin Dong Hyuck who managed to escape from camp 14. He was born in the camp.

I have no idea where you got those figures, but they are absolutely BULLSHIT.

It cost 6x times as much to execute a prisoner as opposed to incarcerating him for 75 years.

Cost aside, I am opposed to the death penatly, but if you are going to have the death penatly and not use it in these instances, than what is the purpose.

Just amazing. It really is. And I am on post review? LOL. Seriously

And why do you think it costs "6 times as much"?

Some just can't be reached no matter what.

I have to know though? How can you possibly be against the death penalty?

I am not only for it, I am with it on torture, then death. Leave it up to the victim's family on the torture part.

I am not one who is completely for the death penalty. However I do feel that in certain situations that prisoners do deserve to be put to death. Especially in this case.

As fars as whoever said it costs 6x as much, keep smoking that good shit!
After even a quick google search you'll see this is untrue.
It cost around $1,000,000 more for someone given death penalty as opposed to life in prison. This extra cost is ALL due to the legal process costs.

Where is my next post at? Ridiculous

If you'd stop with some of your arrogant comments you wouldn't have a problem.

Honestly, some of the stuff that you present is quite interesting, true and I do enjoy reading. However I think you need to find a new way of presenting it b/c the complete racist view gets very old.

I basically said that in my original piece...Sometimes, I like to try to make them think...I found that they come to better conclusions on their own. Everyone can find Waldo when you point to him and say "Is that Waldo" or you give them the book and say "find Waldo"
