Kind of sucks losing the first bet of the year. Under looked great for a while, but it is the final that counts. Today is the real opening day.
Pittsburgh -122 vs Cubs…………Pirates keep moving closer and closer to that winning season. I think this is the year. Great odds to get that at home. I really like this one.
Boston -105 vs NY Yankees………..Yanks lineup looks like a minor league team right now with all their injuries. These two hate each other and either team could win at any time no matter how good or how bad they are that particular season. Lester has a good history vs the Yanks already, add that to the watered down lineup and his red hot spring, Boston is the only way to go in this one.
Phillies -105 vs Atlanta………..betting with my heart in this one, at least partly. I really look for an improved phils/offense team this season. Hamels might be the best of the big three now for the Phillies pitchers. You are not going to get Cole Hamels at this price very often.
Being opening day I could bet many more games, but I won’t. I might come back with one or more later.
