All plays and writeups will be in this thread. A little about me and my baseball background. I've been wagering on horses since I was a very little kid, football and basketball since a teenager. Betting baseball seemed weird to me and it was a sport I wasn't really into, I bet a couple of games here and there but nothing regularly.. I started "seriously" wagering on baseball in 2006 and my first season was nothing short of a trainwreck. I had no idea what I was doing and ended up poorly. Gave it another try in 2007 and since then I've done very well and have made profit every year since.
2006: Terrible
2007: GREAT
2008: Barely made profit
2009: GREAT
2010: Very good
2011: Very good
2012: GREAT
One thing I've had EXTREME success with is fading a certain team for a predetermined amount of time. Here are links to my last two from last season. One went 10-2 and the other went 8-3.

What you can expect, I wager on everything. team totals, runlines, faves and dogs. I do a lot of -1s on faves and I'm not afraid to wager on dogs cause thats where the money is. Starting pitching is important but not the only thing I look at. I like to fade cold teams and tired BPs. Baseball is a very mental sport and when a team is going bad they can lose a lot of games in a row. Its very common for teams to hit .180-.200 for a prolonged period of time.
I usually start out slow and get a feel for the teams. July is typically my best month, I've had some epic July's.
Its all about value. Don't bet the team bet the odds.
I've very serious about baseball wagering. It is , not might be.. IT IS the best sport to wager on.
