Hey guys. Had a pretty decent year in college hoops, especially once the tournament started. MLB and NFL have been my best sports over the past 10 years though, so hopefully the trend continues and we all have fatter wallets by the end of October!

The Phils are my team, and I have sat down and watched them religiously for my entire 27 years of existence. They are hardly ever a good team to start the season. It's almost as if they get hotter as the weather does. Almost nobody in their lineup hits well in April, and Cole usually has a hard time early on as well. While they usually are one of the best teams to back on the road, it isn't a very good idea to back them this early on. The Braves get to start off at home, sporting some brand new players, and I can't see how they don't come out ready to play in front of the home faithful for the first time in 2013. As much as it pains my heart to go against my team, my brain tells me that this is right pick.
