I will never understand why you throw a fastball down the middle when you have an 0-2 count....

Can thank Jose Molina for that one. The guy is always calling for elevated fastballs ahead in the count (Benji Molina used to all the time as well). Problem is pitchers are so used to keeping the ball down, that most of the time the result is a meatball right down the middle.
Damn 0-2 pitch to Adam Jones killed.

Was meant to be a waste pitch up, but pitchers usually have trouble executing it. Especially so early in the season. It's been hammered into them to keep the ball down for the past month and a half.
