Early Action:

Royals/White Sox OVER 7.5 (3 Units)

I like the Peavy/Santana match-up to provide some runs here. Peavy has been good at home since joining the Sox, but his numbers against the Royals leave much to be desired. 4-7, 4.85 ERA in his career against KC. Santana is 5-4, 3.94 ERA in his career against the Sox. He's in a tough spot making his first club start on the road.

As a Pirates fan, I've seen more than enough of Kevin Correia over the past couple years. His stuff is flat and career NL pitchers rarely do well in their first AL start.... It doesn't bode well for his to be facing the most dangerous line-up in all of baseball either. My favorite line today, cash this one in!

Buchholz Struggled against the Yankees last year going 0-2, 15.26 ERA. And although the Yanks are without some of their better bats, the new editions of Ichiro, Hafner, and Overbay have had success in their careers against him. Kuroda has been pretty good since arriving in NY. In 42 innings against the Red Sox he's posting 3.43 ERA with a 2-1 record. This is the lowest amount of chalk you'll get on this team at home.

Giants +115 (2 Units)
Reports out of San Fran say that Tim Lincecum is in the best shape of his career, and looking to bounce back after a lack-luster 2012. The new additions to the Giants lineup will help their efforts in scoring runs, plus Beckett is at the tail-end of his career on the mound. Hunter Pence and Marco Scutaro have absolutely feasted on him in their careers also.
