Roy "Doc" Halladay once was the most feared slinger in MLB. However Doc was 11-8 4.49 ERA in 2012 and sidelined with injury for seven weeks. Tonight' game in Atlanta, Philadelphia's Halladay looks to knotch 200 wins for career games in his season debut but first must work against a Braves squad whose has had good numbers versus him in the past. Halladay is 0-3 7.44 ERA last six vs. Atlanta and 0-2 11.21 ERA vs. Braves last year also going 6.06 ERA in Spring Training. Freeman is 4-8 with 2 HR's, Upton has a .357 average with four doubles and a HR career and Uggla has took Halladay deep 3 times in this mathcup. Atlanta's Maholm gave up a season high seven runs in two innings pitched in this mathcup in 2012 but went went 4-5 3.54 ERA last year and did not give up an earned run in 20 innings pitched in Spring Training. Utley has had some success vs Malhom with three doubles and a HR but Howard, Rollins and Young are only 1 for 12 combined.Delmon Young and Johnny Venters are on 15 day DL but other big names should be good to go for tonight. Can Atlanta keep up their prescription for success against Halladay or can Halladay regain shades of his former fearsome self?Source: ESPN MLB Preview

I have looked at Braves - 1 1/2 + 165, Braves -1 +115, Braves Team Total Over 3 1/2 -110 and First Five Innings Over 3 -135. About an hour and a half before game time. Still undecided.

Phillies put up some runs opening day but not until middle innings. Maholm does have that 20 Inning Spring Training No Earned Run streak coming in and has good numbers vs Phillies lineup but still a stout Phillies lineup to contend with in Maholm season debut also with Howard, Utley, Rollins, Mayberry. Let's see if Philadelphia can scratch out a run or two early as well as Atlanta and try and peg a First Five Over 3 -135 with maybe a 2-2 game after 5.

Finally get another run in the fourth after three runs in the first. Thought it may go through five with just three the way things were shaking out. Halladay had bunches of K's but gave up the runs early. Hope Braves can hold on for all the Run Line Rxer's.
