How to get rid of a beer belly?

A lot of guys get that dreaded beer belly but don't drink period.

How do you work on getting rid of it? What's the best exercise or routine you can do to help reduce the size?

Exercise 3-4 times a week for 20-60 mins cardio :toast:

weights after of course.. even crunches 30-100 a day can help dramatically.

Don't do crunches. Do lots of various core exercises. Something like P90x ab ripper or something along those lines. A good diet will lose the beer belly but a strong core will define the muscles and is good for overall health and strength.

There is no exercise specifically designed to reduce the size of a beer belly.

hearing P90x ab ripper on a gambling forum where its most likely an older crowd who mostly sit around on their couches and bet on games or watch horse racing almost made me spit my beer out....

No reason not to. Incorporate crunches with other core exercises.

To answer the original question, Americans are fat because they eat too much. That's really all you need to know. Six smaller healthy meals each day mixed in with your standard weight training and cardio will do the trick.

As another poster said, burn more than you take in.

Don't do only crunches is which I meant. Should do various core exercises, not everyday though. A few days a week if worked properly is enough.

agree - think our portions and eating habits are generally way out of whack

Sorry dude, I gamble, drink, and exercise... go figure.

Beers is fine, NO junk food, NO heavy servings of rice or potatoes, NO bread. Dp crunches and squats. I do 5 times a week at least 300-500 crunches a day, has worked like a charm. 2 months to see heavy results.
