Astros might be worse than we even originally thought.

Marmol should not be any teams closer.

Pirates offense is BAD, I knew it was going to be bad but I don't think this gets fixed.. Its just bad.

Year after year in MLB, at least for me, Sunday is always a day I'd be better off being in a coma and unable to press the "submit" button.

Padres are really bad until they get some players back.. Outscored 14-40 already this season and I personally see no end in sight until players get back.. Like Headley and Luebke.

Really bad rotation.. Not one reliable pitcher imo.

Marmol should be picking coconuts in the Dominican.

Pirates, Padre's, and Phillies are really really bad.

Cub's have been surprisingly decent (if it wasn't for marmol)

Josh Hamilton continues to be the most overrated player in baseball.

The red's are a tough ball club.

+1

For some reason Sunday has always been the worst day of the week for me in betting too.

One other thing I learned this week is that it looks like baltimore and oakland were no fluke last year.

The Cardinals M. Adams has the chance to be a special hitter.

The Dodgers will still struggle to score runs (and beat the Giants).

Tito is a very good manager still.

Justin Smoak still sucks and will always suck.

On any given day one team can beat another team despite the starting pitcher.

A good bullpen is an absolute necessity, especially now when many starters aren't going as deep into games.

Look for + money on select teams that may not be that good, but are playing well early in the season, or against teams that are good, but may not be playing well now.

Royals need a new closer.

Buck Showalter gets the most with the least.

Pirates and Cubs have shit offenses

Dickey looks like a potential fade...Seems with knuckleball, you are either great or get rocked.

If your wagers are largely based on the starting pitchers, bet the game in the first 5 frames and take the bullpens out of the equation.

Relief pitchers are all former starters that could not cut it. They are all pitchers that have been demoted sometime in their pitching careers and probably several times. No pitcher has ever started out wanting a career in relief. They all start out as starters and that's the main reason bullpens are so erratic and change from year to year.

Perhaps MLB should put a limit on the number of players from any one team that can participate in the WBC.

The Brewers had something like 10-12 players , by far the most from any team.

I knew this would effect their spring training , but maybe it's effecting the start of the reg season as well.

I agree with this. The funny thing is that if you look back at stats from some of the great knuckleball pitchers , you'll find they very rarely ever have b2b great seasons.
