Ben McLemore projected to possibly be the #1 pick?

I get it, the NBA drafts on potential but come on? Outside of Burke and possibly Bennett, these guys will stink in the NBA.

McLemore
Noel
Smart
Porter
Bennett
Len
Burke
Muhammad
Zeller
Oladipo

Naturally... Since the Magic will finally be picking at the top.

Nothing like drafting high when the only players available will keep you just mediocre enough for the next several years so that you don't have a shot at the top pick when a stud finally does come around...^<<^

I think of all teams complaining about draft luck as it relates to when they pick at the top, Magic probably on the bottom, lol.

every year people say the draft is weak and every year people come out of nowhere and turn into solid players.

oh absolutely

as a bucks fan it's always frustrating, won the lottery for andrew bogut. decent player even though he was always hurt, but one of the worst times to have the #1 pick

I believe it has to do with the "one and done" mentality of players most recently. They wont stay in college to get better and mature at their game, they want to jump straight into the NBA and make the millions.

It would be better for the NCAA and the NBA to make it like the NFL's 3 year rule, where they have to be 3 years out of high school before going pro.

I assure you we will see much better college games, better college players and better teams.

As it stands right now there will be no more "Dynasty's" in college hoops, and NBA teams are rolling the dice and gambling on a player they only got to see play at college level for 1 year.

You can judge what a draft class looks like before they're drafted. It doesn't mean they'll turn out shitty but right now, it looks as though not one of these guys will be worth a damn.

Bennet and Burke will probably be nothing special either. Drafts are crap shoot most of the time.

Lebron's don't come every year.

Anymore, people jump to the draft because they know if they stay, it will expose their game.....Guarantee if Zeller stayed 4 years, he would be lucky to be drafted towards the end of the 1st round...So many guys are just like that.

If Goodwin could have went out of high school, he would be a lottery pick, now everyone knows he sucks and has a bad attitude. I'd rather have someone like Oladipo who could not have even played overseas coming out of high school, but has become a better player after 3 years.

NBA draft is by far the easiest to predict of all major sports...Everyone knows for the most part ( a couple surprises) who will be good. Everyone was high on Lillard last year and that is with him playing not real competition.

Like? Lilliard maybe? How about the other 60 guys drafted?

too early to tell, wait 2-3 years.

i never thought the spurs would be winning with guys like tiago splitter, danny green and kawhi leonard, all players that got little to no acclaim, but they are.

Yeah, but we're talking about guys that turn into stars in the league. Splitter, Green and Leonard will never ever be stars. They fit Pop's system perfectly.

This is dead on.

In no sport can ONE SUPERSTAR make as big an impact on a team as in basketball...

Thats because 1 player is 20% of the starting lineup.
It takes 4.5 NFL players to equal 20%.
