So I made a large play tonight...

on Cubs/Brewers over 7.5

I went out to watch the game with some buddies and was pumped when I won it in the 8th. Got home to check my balance and it seemed low.

Checked my history and turns out I accidentally put the bet in on the under.

I rarely bet totals and when I do I ONLY take overs. Ugh.

Insult to injury? The under was -130. You would think I would have noticed the anomaly in the risk/to win amounts but I was in a rush to get out the door and didn't even see it. ##)

Seems the Cubs and anyone associated with the Cubs seem to have "losers luck"... When things are going perfectly their way, then all of a sudden it does a complete 180 no matter what they do or what side they are on.

Thanks guys, it sucks. Honestly what sucks worse than the money is that I unwittingly rooted for the wrong side all night, thought I pulled out a bit of a miracle...now not only do I not get the winnings, I lose the stake......at -130. Ha

I think this is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever done this and of COURSE each time I would have won. Why couldn't I be pissed all night that I didn't hit my over and then come home to see I had the under and won? Damnit.

Oh and also I had a play on the Cubs. So when they came back from down 3-0 late, and then went up 6-3, I was thinking "BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!" Hahaha

I hate when this happens.. always verify the play and remember how much money you are betting so it is important.. but yes I realize we have all been in a hurry or made the mistake before... I hate when it happens :smoking:

Ahhhhh, Justin's just got his panties all in a bunch because I was trying to explain why his "capping method" in the Michigan/Cuse game was dimwitted. Then later on in the thread when he asked why people were hating on him I called him out for being an ignorant, arrogant, petulant poster.

In both cases I was honestly just trying to help the young man see the error of his ways. Seems it fell on deaf ears because his true colors are continuing to come out as he further exposes himself as one of the forum's biggest bitches.
