Atlanta's Mike Minor may have used Spring Training to refine some things but he is 6-0 1.98 ERA in his last eight starts. Minor is also 1-1 1.72 ERA in his last three starts vs. Miami. The Braves overall are on a five game win streak and have chalked up wins over Miami in six consecutive matchups and hold a 16 of 19 games advantage in the series. Gattis and Upton have had the best bats as of late going a combined 8 for 16 last night with two HR's and four RBI's in last night's game. Miami is on a four game skid and have only scored 16 runs in the 2013 season with a team average of .175 with Runners In Scoring Position. Stanton does have two HR's vs. Minor career but is only .154 this season with no RBI's. Sanabia made 14 starts for the Marlins in the 2010-2011 season but spent last year in the Minor Leagues. In his last outing, Sanabia allowed six hits in six scoreless innings. Sanabia has not faced the Braves since 2010 but does have a 3.86 ERA in three starts vs. Atlanta but received no decisions. With a win tonight, Atlanta will have back to back sweeps and a perfect 3-0 road record. Miami is still trying to find an offensive breakthrough but may have major headaches if Minor can duplicate his numbers from past performances. Source: ESPN MLB Preview.

Freeman still out for Braves and Heyward is in a slump at the moment. A few Home Runs is this series but not many. Minor has success vs Miami while Sanabia with a 3.86 ERA vs. Braves. Could be another 4-2 5-2 type night. My leans are Atlanta -1 -127 with Miami's average with Runners in Scoring Position so poor and Under 8 -135. May try to find some more information from other articles.

The ESPN Preview or CBS MLB Preview gives the reader all the current storylines and statistics you may need to review. I try to read the articles and give a summation of the information. I am glad you men enjoy reading it and hopefully it provides an angle or approach you may not have considered. It also helps refine my writing style and technique.

Braves had had too much success in Marins Park to turn back now and looking a for a sweep tonight with Minor facing an Marlins squad really in the cellar of run production. The focus today will be Atlanta -1 -127 looking for Upton to keep up his pace with solid relief pitching by Atlanta to seal a road win sweep in the later innings.

Braves with men on first and second with one out but a double play nixes the top of the first. Lets see how Minor looks.

Polanco did touch Minor for a double in the second inning, but Minor got two big K's to get out of the inning. Braves with the Top Of The Order now going into the third.

Minor touched for another double in the third but escapes again. Minor may not be so lucky next time. Scoreless game going into the fourth.

Shafer gets on, steals second and Simmons brings him home. 1-0 at that point then Gattis with the big blast and 2 men on to give Atlanta a big inning in the fourth. 4-0 then Fransico with a towering Home Run almost into the blue seats and now a 6-0 game. Miami may not recover from that inning.

Now a 8-0 game heading into the bottom of the ninth. Think I will sign off for the day and get some rack time. Big day with The Masters starting tomorrow. Stay Safe RX Land.
