Great opening season so far, getting +10.88 units thus far... and for those who have been following its been a fun ride. You know I don't lay huge juice and play mostly +money plays. But, according to some people, Im not a "Winner" unless my thread is one of the top 3 viewed, OR I give 1000+ words write-ups a day.

I say bullshit..... You can give me any two teams playing each other, and I can write a spectacular write up for BOTH on why you should bet them, or why they are the better team in this match-up. Write-ups are just confidence builders for biased opinions. And that's all we have here as sports bettors.... "OPINIONS". There are no SURE THINGS, or LOCKS. Nothing can predict the outcome of a game day in and day out. What we do is we gather as much information as we can, and put it all together, and form an opinion. Yes, its hard work, but if you want to make money betting sports, you have to put in the time.

Some people put in the time giving huge write-ups, which I feel is just a waste. Yes they look nice and pretty, but its just a biased opinion on an outcome. That's why you wont see me give any write ups. I might pop in a thread here or there with a tidbit of how I feel a game is going to go, but that's all I will do. So, that's why I don't feel the need to give a write up, I get right down to it. I put the challenge out there to a "professional", and he balked....... So... with all that out of the way... Here is what I am looking at for tomorrow.

Toronto Blue Jays RL -1.5 +145 (White Sox get exposed) $100 to win $145
Cin Reds +115 (Phillies barely won series vs the horrid Marlins, Lee isn't the Lee of old) $100 to win $115
Col Rockies RL -1.5 +150 (Slugfest but Gee is horrible and gives up 7+) $100 to win $150
NYM/COL OVER 10.5 -115 (reasons stated above) $115 to win $100

Good luck today guys, gonna hit them hard again tomorrow

Also looking at a slight lean on the Astro's getting some nice +money today. I'm digging a bit more into it and will post if I play it. Number might move in our favor if the other side keeps getting pounded

Lee is 2-0 with a WHIP of .60 and and an ERA of 1.08. He has gone 8 innings in both his starts and has 14 k's and no walks and his BAA is.167. Reds have dropped 5 straight so maybe they can turn thing around at home but Lee has actually been better than the Lee of hold in his two starts this year. I like the Jays play but are you concerned about how bad Buehrle has looking so far this year.

Lee hasn't faced really anyone with any offensive power yet. And buehrle might give up a run or 2 to the white sox mediocre offense... Floyd is the real problem, I'm betting against him. He is a trainwreck waiting to happen.... he gets way behind quick to power offenses

Lee faced Mets and Braves who are both in top 10 in runs scored and slugging % but all stats this year are obviously based on just a few games. Reds bullpen burned me badly yesterday. Agree with you on Floyd but Buehrle has just looked bad so far. Sox offense is average at best. Flowers went five games without a hit before he doubled yesterday. He is hitting .182 with 3 RBI and 15K's in 33 at bats. Sox will regret not keeping A.J. if Flowers can't hit big league pitching.

GL with the picks today. With you on Rockies and over, thanks.

Exactly the Mets numbers are bloated because 1/4 of their games were against the freaking Twins awesome pitching.

Definitely adding it as a play.

Eric Bedard at the beginning of of every season has pitch masterpieces in every game except for 1 game (gave up 4 runs or less the past 10 starts in each of the past seasons). On the other end Milon has been up and down to start the season, and don't know what you are really going to get. But whats pushing me to make a play on this is that the A's bullpen has seen 14 innings of action the past 3 games. That bullpen is tired, while the Astros pen has only seen 6 innings of work. Both of these starters are pulled on average in the 6th inning (6.1 innings). So with 1 fresh bullpen and one tired one, Im going with the BIG +money in this one for the late game win. It should be close the whole game with either team having no more then a 2 run lead at any time.

With it being a 50/50 game from my standpoint... lets go with the nice +money.

Houston Astros +180 (betting $50 to win $90)

(See, I told you any write up can make any team look playable lol) But, seriously, this is how I think of the game
