They never quit, :). Who knows?!? He's a front runner. Pure and simple - this is fact not opinion . The swing couldn't handle the needs on Sunday . Fighting the block , fore R!!!

Another poll? Does he have an ounce of integrity ? A few of his peers calling him out re., his claim 'abiding by the rules of the game' :)...he just wasn't man enough

Should read, would tiger have won if he used adam scott's long ass putter,

moot point , he feels he doesn't need it- his putting stroke is good enough . As it turns out the swing/and between the ears failed him Sunday- 16,17,18 was tough to watch.

Hard to say, Possibly, but Tiger doesn't put the fear into other golfers like he used too. Both Cabrera and Scott both handled themselves really well under that pressure.

Impossible to say.

Imo , once he teed off Saturday he should have put it out of his mind , but you never know , maybe it bothered him so bad it lingered for several holes or for bothered him all day. ...Only Tiger knows.

I think he would have won by several strokes ... Finished around 11 under...

He stated he thought 10 under would win it outright, and it would have...he def had his chances at firing it

i dont know why people are assuming he would have made birdie if that shot doesnt hit the flag. The shot would have landed past the pin (since it hit the stick on the fly) and would have taken a decent bounce. I saw alot of shots on Friday take a big bounce and end up in the fringe, which was relatively close. He landed his second attempt 6 or so feet short of the flag and after its initial big bounce it stopped dead. Thinking that he would have had a tap in had he not hit the pin is a guess.

Scott won despite his putter. sure he made a couple in the clutch , but overall its a liability for him.. to answer the qustion, no he wouldn't have won..once the weekend approached Tiger startede missing fairways, greens, and putts...

Personally I think Tiger would have won a he seems a fraction of the player when he's chasing the game as to when he's up with the pace. My analogy is to horse racing - put a front runner in behind and it will rarely be able to produce the same rating as when he leads.

he would have put a heck of a lot of tension on the other players and more than likely they may have choked.

but its just a guessing game

Why do you all think he would have won, he has not one a major in just about 3 years, I can also tell you that the new young guns are not scaried of Tiger....I do not thnk we will ever know, but one thing I will tell you is this is not the same Tiger as he was 4 or 5 years ago

5 to 10 players 10 years younger than Tiger Woods will win the next 20 majors. Scott & Cabrera put on a beautiful show.

It is sad that people have to bring down the number one player in the World....or anybody in any profession that exuberates greatness...there will always be haters....he gets a two stroke penalty that equates to a triple bogey on the hole and still finishes top 5 in the field...he was striking the ball just as well as anyone in the field...and putting better than most...Red Eye must have been watching a different tournament...
