I like to sit back and watch the first couple weeks of the regular season to get a feel for how individual players and teams are performing this year. My units are 1-5 with 5 unit plays being scarce especially early on in the season. Good luck to everyone who is contributing in other threads. Let's have a successful season.
Thanks guys. I think tonight is a tough matchup for Harang in his first start with Seattle. Detroit has been hitting the ball really well and they have the edge in pitching and hitting tonight. As for the Red Sox, I see them getting Jimenez out of the game early and Cleveland does not have a strong pen.

Thanks for the link jaypaw. I'm not looking to debate my picks with people. If you don't agree with me, don't take my picks. Just looked up Cleveland's vaunted bullpen for fun to see if I was mistaken. 21st in the league with an ERA of 4.81. Not saying they are that bad, but they certainly don't have a top bullpen in baseball. I also wasn't able to find any experts outside of Cleveland that think the Indians have the best pen in baseball. I may be back soon with a play on game 1 of the mets/rockies doubleheader. My bad BoSox. The bullpen ERA is very skewed because Brett Myers came in very early in relief the day Carrasco got tossed and he brought his gas can with him and they got so far behind that Francona just left him in to get shelled. Very good pen!! I will stay out of your threads, i was under impression a forum was for open discussion. Wasn't bashing, just making a statement.
I'm not debating just was voicing a friendly concern. If you don't like conversation I can respect that just say the word and ill stay out as well. It's nice to chat sometimes and I can't speak for anyone else but I'm sorry if I gave the impression I was piling on.

Agreed BoSox!! I just like giving feedback sometimes when I feel someone may be mistaken on their viewpoint. Cleveland is my hometown team and I will stick by my statement about their pen. Luckily, Ubaldo blows cause the pen was lights out last night. That one game that Myers came in for Carrasco really skewed the numbers in my opinion. Rest assured, I am not a basher and I want everybody but MY BOOKIE to win!!!
