For whatever reason I thought about this last night while lying in bed. I think I have too much free time...

Here's why I think each one sucks...

Blown out from the beginning -
This happened to me once this season. I consider it bad because you are ready to enjoy a game, have your snack ready, and have high hopes for a win. Then it's over in 15 minutes because you're down 6-0 in the first inning. Still, to me this is the best way to lose a game because you can not waste your time.

Tight Game Throughout and lose it in late innings -
This one suck because you waste 3 hours on it. You feel the stress inning after inning as you sweat it out only to have the other team win by 1 in the 9th innning.

Your team blew a big lead late in a game they controlled from start to finish - This one is a bitch too. You're are confident the whole game as your 3-5 run lead holds strong throughout. You might even turn the game off and do something else as your starting pitcher dominates. Then out of nowhere the bullpen blows it in the 8th inning. ouch

Your team makes a big comeback but blows it late -To me this one takes the cake. This has happened to me at least 4 times this season. The Dodgers were the latest one to do it last night. IMO this one is the worst because you keep faith as they claw back inning after inning. The change in emotion is sickening. You go from hopeless, to thrilled as they tie it or take the lead, to devastated as the bullpen loses the game in the last two innings.

I'm with you on a lot of your rationales. At least with the first one you can just say...yeah that sucks and move on to doing something else...but the other ones you watch pitch after pitch thinking you're going to pull out the victory only having it stripped from you...

St Louis right now just reminded me of another one.

When you're team starts out great and jumps to a nice multi run lead in the top of the first only to get crushed in the bottom of the 1st.

I remember last year I had the Royals and they scored 6 runs in the top of the first and colorado came right back and scored 6 in the bottom.##)

yea that sucks bad.

I was thinking ML plays only. There are a ton of total's bad beats we could list.

I had a Runline Parlay going last year, 3 teams. Hit the first two and would have won 1000 if I got the third one, which was yank's -1.5. NY had 6 run lead in the 7th inning and they called the game for weather. Well, RunLine bets don't count unless the game goes full. It was one of the sickest beats I ever had and it was a win. Weird.
