Boston scored 7 runs in the 2nd inning yesterday thanks to 5 walks, 1 stolen base and only two hits. They did absolutely nothing in other 8 frames. They did something similar against Tampa Sunday when they scored 5 runs, 1 on a sacrifice fly, 1 on fielders choice and 2 on errors, with 0s appearing all but two frames. In two other games against Tampa they scored 2 and 3 runs, 1 on an infield hit in the 10th inning, 2 on solo home runs and 1 on a ground out in the bottom of the 9th. At some point they just have to luck out. Masterson has the tools to shut them out today. Only one run allowed this season, and none in last 19 innings. His relievers were perfect in 5 innings this season. Boston should have hard time scoring more than 3.5 runs. My first play of the season is: Boston team total under 3.5
