2 teeth knocked out

I was playing basketball yesterday and had 2 of my teeth knocked out by an elbow. Going to the dentist Monday and they Recommended a paradontist over an oral surgeon. Any advice with similar situations. How much is thod going to set me back?

Did you not try to save the tooth? I thought they would recommend seeing an endodontist immediately, and still would for that matter. Cost? Minimum $2k and as high as $5k I would assume.

That's what I would think as well.

You really just need a Good Dentist that does Implant work... You are probably looking at $1700 each implant
if you have cash on hand... ask them how much for cash .... you might get 5-10% off

was it a And -1 type foul or clean?

My cousin is dentist. He works right off Connecticut ave. let me know if you still need treatment.

I was on defense unfortunately. Dude was like 6"5 and it caught the side of me. Not really sure exactly how it happened tho

It took too long to get home and get the tooth in milk. I only found 1 of the teeth tho.

Never had my teeth knocked out but I did get my nostril ripped in half. About 15 years ago I was playing on courts that were only 9 ft. I went up and dunked and on the way the down one of the hooks from the Velcro net caught my nose. It was pretty ugly.

No problem. It's unfortunate that you were hurt but I wish I had more time to play ball. Being married with two children has really limited my time for basketball. I haven't played a game in over 2 years.

Implants should be considered 1st line of treatment unless a contraindication exists. There placement should be soon, so as to minimize bone loss (it'll atrophy as much as 10% within 6 mths, the socket
that is). These are in the front ? Demanding to restore unless the case is a 'no brainier '. If ur general dentist refers u to a prosthodontist it's either because he doesn't have a lot experience in restoring implants or ur case is not easy . Do not look for 'cheapest ' practitioner.

Yea but I believe most dental only cover up to the first thousand dollars a year

That crossed my mind. It could have just flown far away but no way to really know. I already had 2 loose bottom teeth and a bridge on the other side but the guy managed to get the other side of the mouth
