If you take away law abiding citizens rights with guns that just opens it up more for the criminals to do more than they do now because they don't have to worry about you maybe shooting back.
Criminals do not respect and abide by city,state,and federal laws. Change what ever you feel is right. The crime will not stop period.
The Constitution should never be changed period. Law Abiding citizens uphold and live by the Constitution that's the reason the Constitution was written and put in place. Criminals could care less about the Constitution or any Laws period.

If innocent law abiding citizens had been allowed to carry in Aurora the "mentally ill" person would have been killed before he could have inflicted so much damage on the innocent victims...
If they had armed security at schools the "mentally ill" person would have been killed before he could have harmed one child or teacher. Both innocent victims.
In both cases if guns had been around the horrific incidents would have been stopped.
In both cases "mentally ill" people had guns. In one legally, which should never happen. In the other illegally...
Both tragedies could have been prevented if people and schools were allowed to protect themselves.
In Aurora if the psychologist had not dropped the ball they would not have had a permit to purchase a gun....
