The Atlanta Braves after a 12-1 season start will be glad to be leaving Pittsburgh after droping three of four this weekend scoring only nine runs and hitting .195 in three straight losses. Atlanta looks to put this Steel Town Skid behind them as they travel to Colorado tonight where the Rockies are coming off their first home loss of the season. Colorado had a franchise best 8-0 Home Record before Sunday's loss to Arizona. Mike Minor pulls duty for Atlanta and is 2-1 0.95 ERA this season with 16 K's 1 BB in 19 Innings Pitched. Minor will face a Rockies squad who is first in MLB in Slugging Percentage at .482 and second in Runs at 104. The Rockies are also have 28 HR's this season only one back from Atlanta's 29 HR's. Jeff Francis draws duty for Colorado and is 1-1 8.25 ERA this season and has given up 15 Runs 16 Hits and 6 BB in last two starts. Francis is 3-2 6.49 ERA in five career outings vs. Atlanta but has not faced then since 2007. Justin Upton is 8 for 22 with 2 HR's vs. Francis and .341 5 HR's and 16 RBI's career vs. Colorado. Atlanta looks to have Freddie Freeman back tonight after a strained oblique injury as well as Dan Uggla who was sidelined this weekend with a minor calf strain. Carlos Gonzalez is hitting .364 for Colorado and will be a major focus for Minor tonight. Atlanta does have a four game win streak at Denver and have won seven of eight vs. Colorado overall with the Braves hitting .327 and scoring 38 Runs but will have to improve on an 0-5 record this season when Atlanta hits no Home Runs. Atlanta now checks in at 13-5 overall losing three and 6-4 Last 10 while Colorado is 13-5 overall losing one and 8-2 Last 10.
