Is there anyway it can be seen by somebody that's not your friend? Reason I ask is i work around heavy machinery and two guys i kinda work with just got fired for being dipshits on Facebook basically. They were being stupid for sure but I thought the punishment was a little much......I have a Facebook, it's set as private as I can make it and I don't have any references to work or anything, just school and where I live. And I don't put anything stupid on there anyways

go to your profile, next to activity log there is a drop down arrow that says view as, thats how your profile appears to someone who is not ur friend. if you have kinda restricted certain people but are still friends with them, around your cover photo you can type in a friends name to see how your profile appears to them and what access they have

If you guys knew how much info is out there about you due to facebook and twitter you would shit the bed.

There was some website where you can track anyone based on facebook and twitter, it would tell you what their schedule was, what time they waited for the bus, what time they got home. Scary stuff.

My question is if its set to private, where nobody but your friends can see your shit, is there someway that a big company for example can get access to your profile? I put pictures of my daughter on Facebook, log on once a week maybe. I don't post when I take a shit and brush my teeth so I'm not sure how they could discover my schedule off Facebook.

Last week my daughter asked me to share some photos she lost on her laptop. Instead of emailing the 800 photos which would require some compression and a utility - I created a FB album that was on shared with her. My wife asked me to make sure I only shared it with my daughter and then delete the album after she copied the photos. So I did that. But instead of deleting the album, I changed the setting for views to "only me". My wife just didn't want these photos posted is all... some of them were bad angles, etc.. Well.. choosing not to delete that album blew up on me BIG TIME. Holy shit !! Yesterday my wife texts me in an absolute rage. The album is somehow in a news feed even though I set it to "only me". I had to delete the thing from my smartphone while driving while she was going bezerk.

Moral of the story. Don't trust FB. Don't store photos on there even if you have privacy set to "only me". I have no idea why FB would share that album in my wifes news feed , but it ruined my day, that's for sure.

Don't put anything on the internet if you don't want every single person to see it. No matter security measures, so many people can get around those. It doesn't matter if there is an agreement with a site for privacy, if someone finds it, they can take it.

There was a family from the US that found out that their family pic became an ad or marketing campaign for a european grocery store. Imagine what other photos get used for who knows what.

A simple google images search can pull all photos that are supposedly private.

If you don't want it out there, don't put it up there.

Never post anything on FB that you wouldn't want the police, family, gov...etc to see.

Better yet.... avoid FB alltogether

I didn't have Facebook till I got divorced. Facebook is the best and easiest way to hook up with the girls you didn't or did hook up with back in the day.......As of now, I'm not willing to delete my Facebook cause I don't put anything on it that I could get in trouble for, or find myself in a bad situation.......defying answered my question, thanks

Actually according to the new law just passed yesterday in the RINO controlled house and sure to fly thru the Senate as early as tomorrow your employer can now BY LAW require ALL of your social networking passwords be submitted to the company as a requirement for employment.

But dont let anyone tell u there is a police state coming thats just conspiracy theories

yep. I'm married and I don't have fb because IMO that would lead to divorce. If I was single, I'd be on because it's the easiest way to stay in the loop with women. You don't go on to Facebook for old buddies, you go on to find women.

A lot of people use it to 'hook-up' sorry if my reply upset you, wasn't meant to. I just don't understand the attraction to FB, didn't intend my response to be personal, sorry if you took it that way.

Hell no, I agree with your comment. I use to make fun of people on Facebook. I still do make fun of the ones that take a picture of themselves everywhere they go and say some stupid comment.....really, if I were in a serious relationship I would not be on Facebook.

I love the heavier good looking women that I know just take head or head and tit pictures (always have 100's of pics too). Why not take a picture of the whole package honey?
