I have been posting my plays on a couple forums the past 7 years, the last 4 years as the paid handicapper on a site that just shut down because of low traffic. Been playing these "signature" totals for 4 years now and hitting around 75-80% on them. They don't come up often, maybe 10 plays a year or so. Plays are based on my "contrarian" theory that a pitcher can't (usually won't) dominate the same team in consecutive outings. Last week I used a team total over for the Texas Rangers in a game where Saunders was facing them for his 2nd consecutive start. 1st start he was brilliant pitching 3 hit ball for 7 innings without allowing an ER. In the game I played the team total over he went 4 2/3 innings allowed 9 hits and 7 ERs for an easy winner. The biggest plays are when both pitchers faced the same teams last time out and dominated. One play comes very close tonight, and 2 team total we will play because of them facing the same pitcher that dominated them last week. Going to keep using these team totals when just 1 pitcher is facing the same team after a dominating performance, and we have 2 going tonight.

Arizona team total over ?? runs $300 DeLaRosa has been awesome this season so far and is facing the D'Backs for the 2nd time in 6 days after pitching 2 hit ball for 6 shutout innings last time out. Arizona knocks him around a bit tonight and we should have a winner.

Yankees/Toronto over ?? $300 Came so close to meeting my parameters for a full blow "signature" total, Buehrle was just not quite as dominant as I like for that, but Kuroda certainly was. Buehrle allowed 2 ER in 7 innings and Kuroda allowed just 3 hits in 7 innings with 1 earned run allowed. If Buehrle had allowed just 1 run last week I would be playing this for $500, as it is still going to play it and also the Blue Jay team total.

Toronto team total over ?? $300

Team total lines will be out later this morning, and the game total for NYY/TOR I am waiting as I see early movement down and may be able to get 8. Will post the lines when I bet them.

So are these "signature" totals? Or just regular totals? Let us know your unit amounts for Signature totals as opposed to others.

My larger plays of $500 would be on my "signature" totals. These plays are based on 1 pitcher dominating last week and facing the same team. The Yankees/Blue Jays play would be $200 larger had Buehrle allowed 1 less run last week. I still feel it is a worthy play, but not worthy of the full $500 wager I would normally play on these. Since I have $600 combined on the Yankees game I still obviously feel it is a strong play, just not for the game total (which is why I used the team total). My "signature" totals will all be at least $500 and will be wagres on the game total and not on team totals. Hope that clears it up.
