Haven't you ever gone to a game in your life that got rained out? It's no different. Your ticket is good for whenever the game is rescheduled.

I live in Texas and will be driving to the East Coast this June to attend Redsox, Yankees, Orioles and National games. I'm screwed if those games are cancelled since I will not be able to attend the redcheduled games. Each game I paid for each ticket over $250.

im sayign is if you have a large group and they reschedule it for say a double header sunday, they cant expect everyone to be able to go on a different day on short notice, has to be a way to get a refund

Basically you are S.O.L.

Case in point. Last Friday was supposed to be the Red Sox first home game since the Marathon and it had become a strong sellers market and sales were brisk on Thursday night. Some even starting buying blocks of seats off the Red Sox online and and reposting them on Stub Hub to squeeze out a 15 to 30 dollar profit on each seat. At around 1AM, circumstances changed and the game was on hold. Everyone who bought was stuck with their seats. That game got rescheduled for Sunday night and the market was crap. I know a few examples where some paid over $100 a ticket and re-posted them for Sunday trying to recoup a few $$$ without much success.

Meanwhile, the market for Saturday's game spiked.
