Saw it today. Loved the preview trailers and made a point to see it on opening day. I am left scratching my head on this one. I didn't know much about the plot going in... but by the end I am wondering why Wahlberg and The Rock got involved in a true story that glorifies crime - some pretty nasty shit I might add.. I won't say more than that so as to not give anything away.

The trailers kind of fool people like me into thinking it will be a light-hearted comedy of sorts. The better avenue on this project would have been to take this cast and forget the true story. These guys had some comedic chemistry .. but the plot just ultimately kills it off. Director Michael bay could have created a fictional story loosely based on the true plot and really maximized this cast. I give it a 5 out of 10.

I am pretty sure some people will like it. I would have enjoyed it more if they hadn't tried to make a comedy out of the awful truth. The cast did fine with what they had. just bad choices all around IMO. Should have been fictional comedy straight up... or maybe a more serious look at some sick crime.

Another three month wait until it hits DVD.

And then it'll be another 6 months after that by the time I get around to seeing it.

Rock looks max-roid/HGH'd out of his mind in the commercials on TNT during the playoff games.

Looks like 10 times bigger than he has ever looked, jesus.

Good point. These actors are all taking roids. It's bullshit to think they "work out" just for a movie role. Gimme a break.

Have you seen him in the commercials? He was always huge in his WWE days but this is like way, way past that. Dude looks like he put on 50 pounds of lean muscle mass, lol.

Yep. Saw it. When your his age at this point and having a body like that in which has been making you money by getting movie roles. ROIDS all the way. No doubt he's probably watching his diet and working out but to get that "extra" physique like in the commercial you're talking about....roids. Plain and simple.

yep . He looks roided out in the movie for sure. and in fact the movie is ABOUT three guys that are roiding and some things they do - a true story from 1995 in Miami. The movie has it moments where the cast really carries it along. Makes you want to work out, get pumped up... but be as it may.. they are all just stupid criminals. Beyond stupid really.

Glad to see you guys agreeing about The Rock and his dependance of steroids.

Yahoo had an article and pic recently of him being in the hospital.

While it seems like every other user was raving about him and his appearance, I commented that he's going to be spending even more time in the hospital in the future if he doesn't drop the roids.

I got attacked by so many, both males and females.

Its amazing how many people have no clue as to the common use of steroids these days and it being the reason a person looks the way they do the majority of the time.

If it looks too good to be true, then it usually is...

That's what TV will make you look like plus everyone else is puny they make him look that much bigger.
I doubt he weighs much more compared to his WWE days.

I don't know but he did bulk up huge for that movie. He was definitely on roids.

I kind of went out on a ledge trashing this movie. I like Wahlberg a lot and "invinceable" ranks very high for me overall. This flick just could have really been so much better imo. I am quite sure some will disagree... but I stand by what I said.

i am a huge movie goer and i really enjoyed the movie, it was definitely a sick story...and it was one that i am glad was told on the big screen
the comedy was dry and most of your laughing was at how stupid they were
the movie is probably more appealing to a younger crowd
