I would like to commend Bovada Poker Room for 1st class customer service

I know most people dont comment on books unless they do something wrong.
But Bovada went way beyond the call of duty yesterday.

If you did not know already Bovada got hit yesterday with an attack that crashed there site.

I was in the middle of 4 SNG poker tournies at the time.
I was already ITM on 2 of them when the site crashed.

So I made the decision to go ahead and call it even and not email them demanding a refund on those 4 tournies as long as they credited my account for the 2 ITM's

I log on just now and not only did they credit me for the 2 ITM's they sent a full refund on top of that for all 4 SNG's without me even asking.

And it gets even better.

I check my email and I get an email that they sent me a $20+2 tourney ticket to enter any tourney of that value.
So I check my bonus account, and not only did I have that 1 $20+2 ticket they told me about in the email, I had 2 of them.

This is what you call going way beyond the call of duty.

I have no idea if Bovada is a sponsor of this forum.
Frankly I dont even pay attention to the banners because they are meaningless to me.

I know they use to be a gold sponsor are whatever it is they call them.

But anyway I thought this customer service was worth a thread.

This is the way a quality company is supposed to operate.

Not often you see this . I've never used bodog or bovada but heard decent things about their poker

Bovada has absolutely incredible customer service. I have personally written to them on several occasions to highlight that fact and thank them for how they do business.

That's why I was so stunned when I ran into 5dimes customer service lol.

But doesn't Bovada take forever to pay customers and 5dimes pays less than 24 hours most times?

5dimes agents can be a little rude but my 3+ years I never got a problem getting paid...matter of fact I just picked up a western union yesterday for 900 without a hitch as usual...ive never played at bovada but what they did for chop and im sure the other players was great

5dimes is extremely fast in their payouts.

I'm speaking only of if you have some type of issue. Talk to a bovada customer service rep and a 5dimes rep and see the difference. In both competency and courtesy there is no comparison.

Overall both books are great and each has their strengths and weaknesses.

I've got paid...

slow...

but paid....

This should be the norm.

Why?

Doesn't take long for a poker room to handle 1.1 million in action. They pocket $100,000.00 of that without ever having to worry about a flop, turn, or river.

888 grabs the most. They bury 12% juice into their even dollar amout buy-ins. So those boys pocket $120,000.00 of that 1.1.

No heavy lifting for these rooms to grab the big vig. Wicked.

They should kiss your ass nice like. If they don't, they are unworthy of your business.
