5/1

DBacks -105
Royals +102
Mariners +125

Got these in early because I don't see them getting any better this. Have another play I will post later once I get the number I think it will peak at.

Wow. My plays so far are leaning the same as 3 of yours. Possible two big plays. Depending on my numbers and lines. Hope they stay true. Good Luck tonight my man. Go for sweep #2!!!!

Ill tell u what bz,...twins shaping up to be a decent value play. Is Sanchez for real? This guy really worth laying -200+ vs anybody? Not like the twins have been horrible either.

Sanchez is definitely for real but been pretty lucky to start the year. His fly ball rate is about the same but yet to give up a HR. On top of that, his strand rate of 83% is not likely sustainable.

My fair ML price for this game (with the starting lineups just released) is +160/-160 with a total of 7.5. I have less confidence in my totals because I've spent less refining them but they help me in situations like this because I tend to be a bit more selective when it comes to +200 or more teams. Since I have the total being a point lower I'm currently checking the +1.5 line as a potential play. Will post when/if I make my move.

Plus, while the Twins lineup might look like dog shit to the naked eye today...I really like Arica as I think he adds additional power to the Twins. If Joe Mauer were in I'd have the line in the +152/-152 range though.

Appreciate that lineup. Was looking at the +1.5 myself at even money. No Mauer? Hmmmm. I can't believe I'm going to take the mets. My play says to take Miami but I just can't do it. They should of lost the last two. Can't take a squad with NO offensive power. Ill go against my numbers for first time of year. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

On a similar note, not sure why I didn't flag Mia as a potential play because I had that line at -105/105. If Stanton were in there they'd be favored. Just a bit worried they may not bring the best effort now that their superstar is on the shelf.

Just for fun, here's my opening line for tomorrow's Was/Atl (Haren vs. Medlen) matchup:

Nationals +143
Braves -143

Over 7.5 +110
Under 7.5 -110
