Chisox/Texas - At home Texas smashes LHP so, I expect Texas to score enough to beat the light hitting White Sox. Texas finished April strong and they are a confident bunch. This should be my only play of the day...even though I could be talked into playing Balt.

Been looking at the Balt/Seattle game and I have to back the Orioles in this game. Chen has been solid this season and Harang has been horrible!! The Mariners don't hit lefties all that well at home and the Orioles hit righties on the road at a .271 clip. Balt has averaged a little over 6 runs per game on this road trip helping them to a 4-2 record. For whatever reason, the linesmakers aren't showing the Orioles much respect yet and you can get a good price on Chen.

I want to contribute to the forum but, I do have time constraints that don't always allow me to consistently post. I am here every day but, once I am done capping games, I may not have time to post. Also, I hate to admit this but, my wife HATES me betting on sports and we usually have high level discussions about it when she finds out that I do. So, when she is around, I can't jump on here and post...I know, I am pussy whipped...LOL!! She is a great lady who I have been married to for 28 years. I have never cheated on her except that I bet on sports and she doesn't know about it. I do well enough that I don't touch our money. When I win, I put away the profits to pay any losses I incur. I have not touched our money in over a year!!!

I promise to try and post more consistently but, I am very selective in the games I post here because I want to post only winners!!!!

I found a couple I like for today:

Oak/Clev - I just don't see Oakland getting swept in this series. They had a chance for the win last night but, got screwed by the umps!! The A's shouldn't have any trouble getting to Kazmir. They are hitting lefties on the road at a .272 clip and Kazmir has a 1.67 WHIP and an ERA of 6.28. We just need the old but experienced Colon to get us to the A's bullpen and we should be able to get the win.

Oakland -125

Pitt/NYM - The Pirates are playing solid ball and their bats are heating up. McCutcheon has started to hit going 14-for-32 over the last eight games with six RBIs. Locke has been solid this year and has not lost since April 7. The Mets are only hitting lefties at home at a .198 clip. Gee has allowed opponents to hit .312 and the Pirates should have no problem getting to Gee. Also, the Mets bullpen is not very good. I don't see the Buccos having a problem winning this game today.

Milw/Pitt - Pitt hates the Brewers and got spanked earlier in the season in Milw. They will be out for revenge today and have Burnett going who has been pitching lights out. Pitt bats have been hot lately also so, I see no problem with the Pirates scoring in this game.

I found two I like for today. I see two good pitchers getting + money and I have to take it:

Chisox/LA Angels - Sales is a plus pitcher in the AL and is one of the WhiteSox's bright spots this early season. The Chisox are starting to hit and in the last 10 games, they have hit LHP at a .286 clip. WhiteSox have won 4 of their last 5 while the Angels have lost 4 of their last 5 games...teams are trending in the opposite direction. Plus, this pitching matchup just happened in Chicago and Sales went 9 innings shutting out the Angels in a 3-0 win.

LA Dodgers/Atlanta - Another good pitcher getting + money today is Ryu. The Dodgers have won 4 of their last 5 games while Atlanta has lost 4 of their last 5 games...another two teams trending in opposite directions. Maybe it's because I am a huge Pirate fan and watched Maholm pitch for several years for the Pirates but, I knew that his fast start this season just couldn't hold up. He started out winning his first 3 games and then has lost 4 of his last 5 games. The Dodgers do hit LHP fairly well and I see a Dodgers victory tonight.
