My Early Best Bet - Saturday MLB - 1.05 pm Game

Hi everyone,

I rarely post my own threads except when I feel there is a very high likelihood of my pick being successful.

Over the last few days - I've won 10 and lost 2 - and have been very tuned in with the ups and downs of the games
and how teams play out.

Also I want to add that I am betting games to make a living for myself - so I think you get the idea - I don't post these
picks for fun or giggles - I post them so people can win. (Hopefully)

My pick today is Minn Over Cleveland and I just bet it at $2.04

Minn has won 13/16 games against Cleveland recently - and Kazmir pitched terribly in his first start but alot better in KC and I think surprised some
people ... but KC are funny some days they make anyone look like a world champion because they don't scare pitchers because they rarely
hit home runs.

I think Kazmir falls back to a below average performance and that should allow Minn to put a gap between them and Cleveland.

The risk in this game is Cleveland scores a bunch of runs - well Corretja only gave up 5 Singles to Texas which has alot more consistent
offence than Cleveland does - and dumping Swisher back into the line up today I think will upset their current streak.

I feel that if these 2 teams played this same game 10 times - Minn would win 8/10 of those.

My last pick I bet my whole account on the game (which Won - posted here) - on this game I've put 8%

Over/Under is 9 -- I was thinking Minn 6/2 7/3 6/3 8/2 - type of score.

appreciate your post, I am on the other side. The fact that Kazmir had a better outing than he did on his first could also suggest that he got somethings figured out and might show more improvement this start. I agree that Correia has looked sharp and he has given the Twins a chance to win in all his starts however I doubt that he will be able to maintain that level of pitching. The Indians have been hitting the ball well lately and could get to Correia today. I follow the Twins closely and although it might have nothing to do with this game they are 1-3 on their current road trip. The fact that this is a divisional game with almost a pick'em line suggests this will be a tight game. I wish you luck and thank you for your last wager as I made a decent chunk off following you.

I don't really see it as "close" - I've hit every Cleveland game except one vs KC over the last 6-8 days - So I feel pretty comfortable in saying this is a great Spot for Minn to be in today.

But that's baseball - the human element of every game - errors / umpires and teams that don't show up on the day.

So let's see how it plays out.

I like the Twins today also. Correira has been a very solid pitcher for them this year, and I have no doubts that they'll be able to score on Kazmir. Good luck with the play........

Looks to me the Twins can score 10-12 against Kazmir -- only trouble is he may only pitch 4-5 innings - as he has no control at all.

Corretja - looking average as well ---- at this point -- the over backers are looking pretty good.

Ive been watching the game and its pretty stunning Twins just can't get it going - every time they seem ready to score 2-3 runs they do something stupid.

Still another inning to go - but does not look good at this point in the 8th - after stranding 2 Top 8th.
