At first thought you sound dead on Shub, but if you take a look at some of the names on the list who have won it, they all seem worthy as well...

Lebron would be lucky to have 1 at most if he played when the NBA was at its peak. There is no one left anymore, Durant at best.

There is no way Steve Nash should have won back to back

You may be right, but the Lakers had pretty bad records those 2 years Nash won it so not sure Kobe was deserving then either.
Although he did average 35pts per game one of those years.

But you're right, Kobe and Shaq are 2 of the greatest ever and you would think they would have more than 2 MVP awards between them, but I guess the timing just wasn't in their favor...

Kobe is overrated, known for scoring but only has 2 scoring titles? thats the same amount as T-mac. Yea he has probably been one of the most consistent players for the last 10 years but how people can consider him one of the best ever and he only has 1 MVP award? 2 scoring titles. Rings are won by teams, not individuals. Even MJ needed Scottie

Not saying he is a bad player...he has shot more than any other player in the last 10 years. Until this year has been pretty healthy, all players get banged up but this is his first serious inj. I just dont see Kobe as the best ever, like many people do. Thats what I meant by overrated

Durant should have won this year

Well I dont watch a ton of basketball but I'll disagree. The only thing durant did better was score and that was just slightly better. From the little bit of basketball I do watch I can fully say that in my opinion Lebron is the best in the league basically every year for awhile now. Nobody else can do all the things he does as well as he does them.

They averaged the same amount of rebounds

Not to mention durant was the only player since Larry bird to shoot over 50% from the field, 40% from 3, 90% from the line and lead their team in scoring. Westbrook also had more shot attempts. Okc also finished 1st in a much tougher division.

I guess I'm just biased. I can't stand Lebron. Don't get me wrong he is a great player, one of the best. He just seems as fake as a 3 dollar bill.

“All the people that were rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day, they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today. I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want to do with me and my family and be happy with that. They can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal. But they have to get back to the real world at some point.”
